What You'll do Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age requirements. Recognize when guests have had too much to drink and manage situations with professionalism. Take and fulfill beverage orders from both guests and servers. Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes. Learn the names of our regular guests and provide personalized service. Record orders promptly and accurately in the register system. Process payments, handle credit card transactions, and make change as needed. Wash and sanitize glassware. Prepare garnishes and maintain an appealing presentation of snacks and appetizers. Keep bottles, glasses, and the bar organized and visually inviting. Clear and reset tables in the bar area as needed. Present drink menus, recommend selections, and answer questions about beverages. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly bar environment, including counters, sinks, shelves, and storage areas. Serve food orders to guests seated at the bar. Report equipment problems and maintenance needs to the Assistant F&B Manager. Assist with restocking and inventory management. Be ready to step in and support overall restaurant operations as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Must be 21 years of age. T.I.P.S. certification required. Ability to communicate effectively with guests in the predominant language(s) spoken. Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and standard drink recipes. Basic math skills with the ability to manage money and operate a cash register. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 5 hours per shift). Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
