Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal, to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
