We are currently seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team in a year-round role. Please note: This position is not eligible for J1 or H2B employment sponsorship. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Greet and serve guests with professionalism and hospitality * Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages consistently and accurately * Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, menu items, promotions, and gift certificates * Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in accordance with Maine liquor laws * Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, lounge, and workstations * Assist guests with questions, concerns, and special requests * Complete side work, stocking, and cleaning duties * Support team members and assist with training when needed * Become proficient with the POS system and hotel procedures WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality * Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment * Professional communication and strong teamwork skills * Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented during guest interactions * Previous bartending or serving experience preferred * TIPS Certification required (or ability to obtain) QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or GED * 1 year of related experience or equivalent hospitality experience * Basic math and cash handling skills * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds If you enjoy hospitality, thrive in a team environment, and want to be part of a historic Portland destination, we encourage you to apply today!
