Combine valuable work experience with an energetic, fun environment in one of the most unique properties in Nova Scotia! At the RNSYS, you’ll be an ambassador for the Saraguay House by providing exceptional service to make our members and guests feel unique and valued every visit.

As a Bartender of the Food & Beverage team for Saraguay House, your job duties will include:

  • Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon arrival
  • Stock and prepare bar for upcoming shift
  • Check with Bar Manager about any upcoming events that evening or setup that needs to be done
  • Get to know new products that come in
  • Prepare drinks as requested by members and guests
  • Clean all areas of the bar at the end of the night when all the members have left
  • Assists in closing functions by performing various tasks such as removing linen, bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, etc. and resetting the dining room and other duties assigned by management
  • Count cash boxes to open and close each shift

There is an automatic 18% gratuity on all food & beverage sales, and you will be tipped out by the other servers. All non-cash tips are taxed and will appear on your T4.
Candidates will be matched to positions based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for Bartender with pervious experience. Job responsibilities vary based on the position and will be discussed during the interview process. You must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The RNSYS is unable to assist candidates in obtain Canadian work authorization. Candidates must be legal to serve alcohol in Nova Scotia (19 years of age). Previous experience in area desired is strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.70-$16.50 per hour
