Description Position: Bartender - Seasonal Classification: Non-Exempt Hourly Seasonal Department: Bar Job Summary: Contribute in daily bar and clubhouse operations, provide drinks and hospitality, and offer assistance to co-workers and members. Responsibilities: (1) Prepare drink orders for servers and provide drinks directly to members at various bar locations. (2) Keep the bar stocked by directing Bar Assistants or stocking by themselves. (3) Put out snack tray daily. (4) Keeps a running POS tab on members for bar sales. (5) Sets up the bar daily by cutting citrus, carrying ice and directing Bar Assistants. (6) Keep the bar organized and up to visual standards of members. (7) Stays proactive by following the cleaning schedule. (8) Opens and stocks any remote bars for the day. (9) Provides input on everyday happenings, special events and inventory. (10) Answers the phone and takes reservations as needed for the Clubhouse in a courteous and helpful manner. (11) Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner with Club members, guests, co-workers and Managers. (12) Portrays a positive image for the Club by dressing appropriately and in proper attire for the position. (13) Maintains a safe work environment for self and others. Attends mandatory safety training sessions and adheres to Club and OSHA safety requirements. (14) Ensures confidentiality of all Club members and employee information and records. (15) Maintains appropriate levels in the area of daily attendance, initiative and productivity. (16) Performs all other related duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: Education: Minimum of eighth grade education, high school diploma preferred. Experience: None required, but previous Bar Assistance experience at the Club House preferred. On-the-job training provided. Requirements: Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy cases of liquor or beer and go up and down stairs. Extended periods of time standing and walking. Ability to bend, stoop and reach to gain access to supplies and beverages in coolers and to wash glasses. Mental Demands: Excellent interpersonal skills required. Ability to remember and mix a variety of drinks. Must be computer literate. Must be able to manage time wisely and productively. Environmental Some exposure to chemicals for cleaning the bar, glasses and coolers. Demands: Reports To: Bar Manager & Front of House Manager Responsible For: Bar Assistants
