Role: Bartender Lead
The Bartender Lead is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service from arrival to departure. This role requires professionalism, hospitality, and comprehensive knowledge of food and beverages. The Bartender Lead oversees money handling, beverage pouring and dispensing, and supports servers with drinks at the service bar.
Key responsibilities include verifying guest identification for legal drinking age, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, processing transactions, and ensuring adherence to safe alcohol service guidelines. The Bartender Lead also maintains accurate bar inventory, performs opening and closing duties, and ensures all cash-handling procedures are followed.
This role involves setting up and breaking down workstations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, and providing excellent service that anticipates guest needs. The Bartender Lead is expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times and safeguard company assets. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Check patron identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
  • Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
  • Set up and break down bar stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation.
  • Maintain accurate bar inventory including beer, liquor, wine, mixers, and supplies.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately; follow all cash-handling policies.
  • Close out checks promptly once payment is received.
  • Assist with set-up and tear-down of bar equipment as required.
  • Conduct opening and closing duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.
  • Accurately complete inventory sheets and bar paperwork before and after events.
  • Count and reconcile cash at end of shift and return bank to the cash room.
  • Ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels and reorder as necessary.
  • Safeguard company assets and follow security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of bartending principles, recipes, and current beverage trends.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required alcohol service certifications (state/local and Aramark).
  • Excellent hospitality, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs as required.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour
