JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Interact with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their drinks.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system (Micros POS preferred).
  • Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
  • Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
