Nonna's Cucina is looking for well-rounded Bartender/Servers to join our Commercial Drive location!

Nonna's on the Drive is our brand's supper club & show venue. This location is conceptualized by an elevated dining room, comfort Italian food, and polished service, all set within a cabaret-style music venue.

Please Note: This position is for Bartender / Server hybrids. All applicants will be cross-trained on both bartender and server duties, and will be required to take sections as needed. If you are looking to only make drinks, this position is not for you.

Duties:

• Prepare and execute menu items according to established Nonna's recipes and quality standards, ensuring each beverage is flavorful and visually appealing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to Serving it Right, and food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Candidates must be well-versed in the different roles within FOH Restarant operations, and be able and willing to work in a dynamic environment, facilitating in multiple positions, including beverage production, serving sections, picking up the phone, seating guests, etc.

Experience & Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in restaurants or hospitality setting required
• An up-to-date Serving it Right Certification
• Candidates must be available on weekends
• Familiarity with bar equipment such as commercial glasswashers, draft systems, beverage production tools, knives, etc., is a requirement
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
• Candidates must show strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to step into any role in the FOH during a dynamic service
• First Aid training is an asset
• Experience working with diverse cuisines or specialized dietary requirements is an asset
