Part-Time Bartender / Taproom Associate

Location: North Point Brewing, North Vancouver

Position Type: Part-Time

Position Overview

North Point Brewing is seeking energetic, outgoing and highly reliable Part-Time Bartenders/ Taproom Associates to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming taproom environment. Successful candidates will be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and take pride in representing the North Point brand.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Educate customers about North Point beers, food offerings, and upcoming events.
• Process orders and handle payments accurately.

Beverage & Food Service

• Pour and serve beer and other drinks according to company standards.
• Change and maintain beer kegs as required.
• Serve pizzas and other food offerings in a timely manner.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally.

Taproom Operations

• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Bus tables and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
• Clean glassware, equipment, and service areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and liquor service regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.

Events & Special Functions

• Support brewery events, private bookings, and community gatherings.
• Assist with event setup, service, and teardown.
• Represent North Point Brewing professionally at all times.

General Maintenance & Cleaning

• Maintain a clean and organized taproom, patios, kitchen and bathrooms
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Assist with general brewery and taproom upkeep when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, serving, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid Serving It Right certification.
• Ability to lift and move kegs weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.25-$50.00 per hour
