OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of creativity, efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience. Bartending experience is preferred, as well as familiarity with various POS systems.

SKILLS

  • Abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent sales skills to promote special drinks and increase overall bar revenue.
  • Previous experience preferred, with an understanding of the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
    Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 4 – 30 per week

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
  • Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking and serving drink orders.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through Square POS.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Serving it Right and FoodSafe certificates required.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
