         Bartender   Pay: $18.00 per hour plus tips   Schedule 1: Tues. & Wed. This role prepares and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with skill and efficiency, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. With strong product knowledge and a friendly, engaging approach, the Resort Bartender helps create the warm atmosphere that supports SMR’s Legendary Service and Promise of exceptional guest satisfaction.   Primary Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The Business: 1. Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner 2. Prepare and serve beverages according to standard recipes or customer requests 3. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area 4. Responsible for adhering to all Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) laws and regulations to ensure safe, legal, and responsible service of alcohol 5. Monitor customer behavior and consumption to ensure safety and compliance with laws 6. Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive 7. Instruct guests on how to operate cashless payment systems. 8. Host a safe and interactive environment that all children and families can enjoy. 9. Multitask alongside fellow team members. 10. Compliance with TOSHA certifications, biohazards procedures, and responsibilities for safety in handling. 11. Knowledge and ability to comply with all company operating policies and procedures. 12. Perform other incidental and related duties as required and/or assigned. 13. Operate the POS system and accurately charge guests for all items consumed. 14. Daily prep work, including restocking and garnishes for the shift. 15. Daily cleaning and breakdown of the bar at the end of each shift, including washing of all utensils and barware 16. Assist with daily and/or monthly liquor counts and inventory. 17. Management reserves the right to change, remove or add to these duties as necessary.   Team Members: 1. Instruct guests on how to operate cashless payment systems. 2. Host a safe and interactive environment that all children and families can enjoy. 3. Multitask alongside fellow team members. 4. Compliance with TOSHA certifications, biohazards procedures and responsibilities for safety in handling. 5. Knowledge and ability to comply with all company operating policies and procedures. 6. Skills / Knowledge: * Be in good physical condition and be able to perform indoor and outdoor duties. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment. * Ability to communicate effectively and use the English language fluently: speak, understand, read, and write. Adapt Spanish interpretation when necessary. Education / Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training strongly preferred. * Certification for ‘ABC’ (Alcoholic Beverage Commission) license is required within 5 days from work start date. * Certification for ‘ServSafe Food Handler Program’ is required within 30 days from work start date (Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-Contamination and Allergens, Time & Temperature, & Cleaning and Sanitation). * Ability to work within a diversified workforce. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb and descend numerous flights of stairs consistently. The employee is required to use hand, arm, and leg to reach, bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds daily on their own.
