The soon to be open, Southeast Event Centre, in the heart of downtown Steinbach is searching for Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage Team.
We’re looking for Rockstars, those that can mix a mean drink, excel in a fast paced environment all while being able to customize hospitality per guest, one drink at a time.

BARTENDER POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our team as bartenders. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests to create an exceptional experience, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar area. You will work closely with servers and other staff to ensure seamless service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or event setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-energy environment.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess up-to-date Smart Choices.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and spirits to provide recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and company policies.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash and card transactions.
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide smooth and efficient service, especially during high-volume periods.
