JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending principles. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help customers have an enjoyable experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Engage with customers, providing friendly service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and maintaining a balanced cash register.
  • Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
  • Uphold safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
