A proper pub in one of Wigan’s most iconic mills, serving regional pints, cocktails with a twist and hot bar snacks that hit the spot. We are are seeking experienced and dynamic Bartenders to provide exceptional and memorable experiences for our guests, striving to anticipate needs, exceed expectations, and provide personalised service that makes every interaction, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Your commitment to excellence will ensure that every guest feels valued, welcomed, and eager to return.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous bartending experience
  • Experience in handling Point of sale (POS) terminals and Stock & Inventory management software.
  • Positive and proactive personality and great interpersonal skills required.
  • Good interpersonal skills with both kitchen, front of house staff and management
  • A positive approach
    Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Operational:

  • Keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean at all times.
  • Serve snacks and drinks to the customer.
  • Serve wine, beer and cocktails to guests.
  • Handle and move objects, such as glasses and bottles.
  • Clean up after customers and clean work area.
  • Clear ashtrays as and when required.
  • Assist washing glassware and utensils if needed.

Administrative:

  • Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures as per business standard.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Service standards:

  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as and when assigned by the management.
