The Greedy Banker are looking for a part-time bartender to work in our cocktail lounge The Bullion Bar on Friday and Saturday nights. The ideal candidate will have cocktail-making experience and will be able to confidently craft beverages, engage with customers and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

SKILLS

• Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and presentation techniques.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating drink recipes.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  This job is for set shifts on Friday and Saturday nights from approximately 5:30pm up to approximately 1am. Applicants who are not available for these days and times will not be considered. There will be opportunities to pick up extra shifts on the main bar downstairs throughout the week. You will also be required to work on big events and public holidays such as Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. General availability to work on other days of the week would be a considerable advantage.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with patrons, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes.
• Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
