OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation measurements
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations
  • Operate the POS system efficiently, including processing transactions and handling cash
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
