TIME FAMILY OF WINE: MIXOLOGIST / SERVER

Under the direction of the Restaurant Manager, performing the fundamental duties of Mixologist and/or Server including overseeing service levels within OROLO Restaurant + Cocktail Bar and the Time Family of Wines guest experience.

Fundamental duties

  • Consistently demonstrates service excellence resulting in memorable guest experiences
  • Educates guests on our menu concept and the locally sourced ingredients/suppliers we use
  • Mixing great quality drinks and serving food to our guests
  • Serving guests responsibly & safely
  • Stocking the bar & restaurant inventory as needed, creating shopping and prep lists
  • Supporting on-site and off-site events
  • Assist in concept development and vision implementation
  • Squirrel POS, Tock Reservations & Skip the Dishes
  • Wash & polish stemware, silverware and maintain tools & equipment
  • Maintain high standards for hygiene, restaurant cleanliness, organization of fridges, equipment, storage areas & workplace safety standards
  • Provide support for the culinary team & hospitality programs
  • Empty garbage & assist in restaurant opening and closing duties

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of bartending or serving experience in a restaurant, cocktail bar or lounge
  • High school diploma or equivalent & legally able to work in Canada
  • Mixology Certification or Bartending school considered an asset but not required
  • Positive & friendly ‘Guest First’ attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, able to stand for 6-8 hours, lift up to 40lbs
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
