We are a lively Indian–Sri Lankan restaurant known for authentic cuisine and excellent hospitality. We are seeking an Experienced Bartender to join our team, delivering high-quality beverages, creating cocktails, and providing exceptional guest service at the bar.
Role Overview
As an Experienced Bartender, you will prepare and serve drinks to guests, maintain bar stock, and ensure the bar area operates smoothly. You’ll be expected to have strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines, while also creating a welcoming and enjoyable bar experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks to guests
· Create cocktails and recommend beverages to complement menu items
· Maintain knowledge of Indian & Sri Lankan beverages (e.g., arrack, spiced cocktails, lassis, etc.)
· Provide friendly and attentive bar service
· Manage bar inventory and restock supplies
· Handle cash and card transactions accurately
· Ensure bar area is clean, organized, and compliant with health & safety standards
· Assist with training junior bar staff when required
· Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with guests
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Bartender (minimum 2 years, cocktail knowledge required)
· Strong knowledge of spirits, beers, wines, and cocktails
· Previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar environment
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work under pressure and multitask
· Professional, friendly, and team-oriented
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Relevant bar or mixology training/certification is a plus
· Health and Safety Level 1 Certificate
· Food and Hygienic Level 1 Certificate
