Job Description Set up and maintain all bar tables, ensuring proper arrangement and cleanliness Inspect and prepare all glassware, china, flatware, and linen before service Know and describe all drinks on the menu; recommend beverages to guests and suggest cocktails and wines to enhance their selections Receive orders from captain or guests and prepare drinks according to Standard Operating Manual procedures Maintain cleanliness, organization, and mise-en-place at the working station and service pantry Replenish supplies of linen, glassware, and operating equipment as needed Clean all spillage during service and at closing to maintain a professional bar environment Qualifications **Qualifications:** Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience, preferably in an international hotel chain, midscale or upscale hotel, restaurant, or bar Comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficient English (verbal and written) Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent grooming standards Guest-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering memorable service experiences Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory management is an advantage Creative and proactive approach to suggesting beverage promotions and signature cocktails Additional Information Novotel Samator Surabaya Timur is conveniently located 20 minutes away by car from Juanda International Airport through the highway and close distance to the industrial area, culinary section, well-known Universities, Shopping center, and other city attractions.
