Rock Iron Contracting is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Base Crew Supervisor.

Successful candidates must be able to supervise a variety of job tasks such as; Base work for paving preparation, Site grading, Slab on grade, among other tasks.
Experience with blueprints, understanding of survey, standard and sloping lasers and locates will be required for the position

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Civil Earthworks and Paving construction
• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• With direction from the Field Superintendent, the Site Supervisor will organize the job site and crew to carry out the project plan
• Maintain accurate records of project expenses, materials, and labor
• Assist with the coordination of machine and manpower movement throughout the project
• Establish and communicate tasks to crew members to ensure they clearly understand their respective roles and responsibilities
• Ensure compliance and enforcement of corporate health and safety policies and procedures
• Directly supervise all phases of the project and ensure quality control testing is completed and accurate
• Attend site meetings when required
• Uphold client relations in a professional manner
• Complete Daily production and safety reports
