Description:

We like to think of ourselves as being a different place to work compared to other airlines. We’re fun, community driven, less informal, and from top to bottom we really look after each other. We also think it’s because of our ‘Orange Spirit’. That means working in teams that are positive, inclusive, united by purpose, ready to meet problems head-on, and that have your back. Whether you’re an industry veteran or just starting out, if you thrive in a team environment then we think we have one of the best around.
We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Base Manager to join our team in Berlin.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the crew within the base, with a particular focus on Cabin Crew, Cabin Manager and Crew Performance Manager welfare and support. You will be accountable for driving crew performance and engagement, while ensuring operational excellence within the base. There is a flying element to this role where training is provided.
As the Base Manager, your key responsibilities will include leading an effective crew community, line managing Crew Performance Managers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting a strong safety culture. You will be managing crew performance and conduct, crew welfare and support, and maintaining Health and Safety standards in line with local and easyJet requirements. You will also take responsibility for organising base communications, delivering innovative and effective communications using multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in leading and developing a high-performing team, a background in operational delivery aligned with strategic goals and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You must also possess excellent organisation, administration, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to prioritise in an ever-changing environment.
Having a strong sense of resilience and being able to perform effectively even under pressure are crucial qualities that we value. Additionally, we encourage a collaborative “one team” culture at easyJet where we strive to eliminate any barriers between Flight and Cabin Crew. This position requires someone with a strong background working alongside works council. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German is mandatory.
If you’re ready to contribute your expertise and dedication to our team, we encourage you to apply and be a part of our exciting journey.
