About the Role: This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in the procurement and trading of base oils across various grades. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the base oil market, including the different base oil grades, and a proven track record of successful negotiations and supplier relationship management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key base oil suppliers and traders worldwide.Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during procurement or delivery processes effectively and efficiently.Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all terms, pricing, and delivery schedules align with company requirements.Ensure compliance with legal standards and internal procurement policies.Develop long-term agreements with strategic suppliers.Coordinate logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of base oils.Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to meet customer demands without overstocking.Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.Work with the finance team to develop budgets and ensure that procurement activities are within financial parameters.Analyze purchasing patterns and implement cost-saving initiatives.Provide regular reports on market trends, supplier performance, and procurement activities.Track and manage the purchasing performance of base oils against key performance indicators (KPIs).Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in base oil procurement, trading, or a related role.

  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships in a global market.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
Responsibilities
  • Procurement & Sourcing:
  • Source and procure different grades of base oils from both domestic and international suppliers.Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of base oils.Develop and manage a robust supplier network to ensure consistent supply.
  • Market Analysis:

Stay informed on global base oil market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply-demand dynamics.Track geopolitical factors, regulations, and other external influences that could affect base oil prices and availability.Provide market insights and forecasts to senior management.
