Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Coach for our U15 Boys Rep Team for the 2025–2026 season. The coach will be responsible for leading practices, managing games, and supporting the holistic development of players both on and off the court.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver effective practice sessions focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
  • Provide instruction and feedback during games and tournaments.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team culture.
  • Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and club administration.
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) standards and club policies.
  • Attend all scheduled practices, league games, and tournaments.

Qualifications

  • Previous coaching experience with youth basketball (Rep or school level preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
  • NCCP coaching certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends during the season.
  • Commitment to fostering respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
