Responsibilities
  • Coach year-round 1-hour weekly sessions for boys and girls (ages 7-17), leading beginner and advanced groups with dynamic, team-focused drills.
  • Head or assist coach seasonal camps for boys and girls (ages 7-18), delivering high-energy court time per camp.
  • Lead a HoopLife League team, coaching weekly games, practices, playoffs, and all-star events (may lead multiple teams).
  • Greet athletes and parents with high-fives, building relationships that spark trust and growth.
  • Keep the gym tidy, set up and tear down equipment daily, ensuring an elite environment.
  • Maintain a positive vibe—encourage progress, embrace mistakes, and keep music pumping to fuel the atmosphere.
  • Adapt drills for all skill levels, promoting teamwork and keeping athletes moving, never static.
  • Guide athletes to the right group (beginner or elite), communicating clearly with parents.
  • Work full-time (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time (15-25 hours/week), including evenings and weekends, giving your all to athletes and the mission, no task too small.
