QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY

Experience as assistant coach and/or playing basketball
Skills in training and instructing the basic fundamentals and concepts of basketball
Strong commitment to Student Athletes
Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues and independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
General computer skills and video technology
Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational
Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
Ability to acknowledge difficult situations and respond accordingly
Comfortable working with children in the age group of 4 year to 18 years old
Firmly but tactfully enforce MPAC policies and procedures
Excellent time management and organizational skills

A dynamic setting necessitating the skill to involve children in interactive activities to effectively implement the programs. Capability to support and adhere to top-notch lesson plans focusing on fitness and basketball, as well as adapt and modify plans as needed.
Displays the requisite skill set and comprehensive knowledge of the sport of basketball.
Support and instruct in skills tailored to the appropriate age level to achieve the class objectives.
Recognize the specific requirements of each child and adjust teaching methods to guarantee the ongoing success of every individual.
Consistently convey to parents the progress and developmental requirements of each child in a clear manner
Maintain the necessary safety standards throughout all practices and games. Sustain the operation of assigned classes by reminding participants and parents about upcoming sessions and other programs, and actively promote all events, programs, products, and services.
