JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Batch Manufacturer / Warehouse Operative to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. This is a physically active role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and firm commitment to health and safety.
To succeed in this role, you should be able to work safely and efficiently, maintaining consistent speed and accuracy throughout your tasks.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science are desirable.
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, complete documentation accurately and work safely.
  • Forklift experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous chemical solutions following standard procedures, in batch sizes from 1 to 1000 litres.
  • Weigh and measure raw materials accurately.
  • Monitor and test product quality to meet specifications and complete relevant batch documentation.
  • Manually decant, label and pack products; and palletise for despatch.
  • Support general warehouse duties, including pallet packing.
  • Load and unload vehicles manually or using a forklift (training can be provided).
  • Maintain and clean equipment and instruments.
  • Monitor stock levels and report low supplies.
  • Assist with other related tasks as required.
