OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dough/batch mixer to join our bakery team, specifically our bread team. The candidate will be crucial in preparing and mixing ingredients for our variety of bread loaves, english muffins, dinner rolls, etc. An ideal candidate would have some baking experience and would be knowledgeable of food safety standards. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift heavy items (batches of dough, 50 lb. sacks of flour, etc.) is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience and/or education in baking is preferred.
  • General knowledge of cooking techniques, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including knife skills and baking methods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in food production processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including baking and processing activities.
  • Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet output goals.
  • Work well independently and maintain schedule to not delay other team members.
