Batch Operations unit supports critical 24X7 data processing activities for the entire Group.
The operator should have skills to perform/execute EODs for Core Banking, Consumer Asset, Data applications and other satellite applications.
They should also have abilities to operator enterprise scheduler application most being used to file processing and other batch operations tasks automation.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience within complex environments defined by high availability, high transaction rate and geographical complexity
• 5+ years in IT Operations within an organization of more than 4000 users with at least 3 years of experience in banking

• Perform Core Banking (including international locations) and other Tier1/2/3/4 applications EOD process according to the SOPs & work instructions.
• Execution of ATM Maintenance / Refreshing CAF & PBF jobs on Base24 application for the Group and third parties.
• Monitor and re trigger the failed batch jobs related to Data application components (Hadoop, Informatica, Power BI) based on SOPs.
• Vigilant console-based monitoring of Grafana, control M and provide L1 support task e.g. rerun the failed jobs, remove conditions, change schedule time etc.
• Responsible for quick escalation of incidents with respect to IT operations jobs during shifts.
• Ensure timely delivery of GLIF and reports to Finance and other business units
• Transfer & upload the customer statement and cheque book generated during EOD Process
• Prepare EOD statistics for reporting purpose.
• Monitoring Swift Alliance Access Jobs & files transfers through control M and other utilities
• Prepare shift handover for smooth and error free backlog transfers to the next shift.
• Maintained processing checklist, SOPs & work instruction documents
• Perform UAT EOD/SOD for testing and simulations for the new projects
• Strict adherence to group policies & bank’s Audit and Compliance requirements.
• Co-ordination with L2, L3 and Admin support teams till the batch related jobs are resolved.
• Perform daily health check of data application as per SOP.
• Periodic service restarts of data applications based on SOP.
