What You'll Do Ability to follow all Safety SOPs and GMP requirements. Primary duties will be batching and staging of raw materials for production. Ability to accurately read and operate a scale. Ability to be authorized as an order picker operator. Adhere to all allergen control and sanitation SOPs. Job will require ability to safely lift/carry 50 lb bags, boxes, totes repeatedly throughout the workday. The right candidate will be able to accurately perform transactions in SAP. Other duties as required. What You'll Need To Be Successful Organizational & excellent communication skills. Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job. Basic computer experience. Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions. Previous manufacturing and blending operation experience preferred. Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment preferred. Previous experience with scanners/RF guns preferred. Working Conditions Food manufacturing plant Warehouse environment Physical Requirements Ability kneel, bend, squat, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work. Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments. Environment may be dust filled at times Ability to lift continuously. Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule. Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day. Ability to climb stairs or ladder. Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 10 hours a day. High School Diploma/GED Required. Compensation Data The pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.
