Position Overview: Our Innovations at VP Team is seeking to hire a Showroom Sales Associate with bath or lighting sales experience to join our Erie, PA showroom. We have 7 showroom locations across NYS and Pennsylvania, and we offer all of the latest kitchen cabinetry, countertops, bath & kitchen plumbing products and lighting. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Pay is negotiable based on experience. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with superb judgment and communication skills, a commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Work with homeowners, builders, and contractors in regard to new construction and remodeling projects. Provide sales and consulting services to trade/design customers, industry partners, and retail customers. Provide superior customer service to both VP’s existing and potential customer base to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Generate quotes for current and prospective clients. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and their representatives. Coordinate scheduled showroom visits, as well as handle walk-in customer appointments. Requirements Qualifications: Experience in a retail or commercial environment is required. Bath or lighting background and product knowledge required. Must be detailed oriented and able to meet customer deadlines. Ability to adapt to time sensitive commitments to respond to customers and deliver excellent customer service. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This job operates in a retail setting, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While a somewhat sedentary role, frequent standing on feet up to 8 hours/day and some lifting or carrying of items up to 25 pounds may occasionally be required.
