JOB DESCRIPTION

You will ideally be based in the Lichfield / Cannock area
Wade Construction are looking to recruit a professional all round bathroom and wet room fitter with a good knowledge and experience in the construction repairs sector. We are looking for highly skilled, customer focused operatives who will be involved in carrying out Internal Repair Work & Maintenance in occupied and void properties.
Experience in housing internal maintenance/repair essential.
The successful candidate will be a talented tradesperson and must have excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service, a right first time approach and an in-depth working knowledge of internal housing repair works.
Must be willing to travel within East and West Midlands areas.

Job Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years proven experience in residential plumbing, bathroom / wetroom and housing property maintenance.
  • Good understanding at Multi-Trader level and strong skills in: plastering (board and skim) and patching, tiling, aqua panels, mastic works, plumbing, bathroom refurbishment and sanitary replacement, wet room installation, vinyl flooring including cap and cove, painting, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • High ethical standards, willingness to learn and innovate, and exhibit mature judgement
  • Proven track record of producing high quality work with highest level of customer satisfaction
  • You must be an experienced plumber and multi-trader (Ideally hold NVQ in relevant field)
