Description
- Provide technical consultative assistance to key customers on their power and test solutions for battery applications, by present and demonstrate technology solutions including all hardware, software, and service offerings. - Consult on and support our customers in current and future test architectural designs and measurement techniques throughout the workflows of battery development from R&D to Production - Ensure installation, training, and acceptance of solutions into our customers' workflows, and give continuing technical support to these systems. - Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer software and hardware issue in our high power, battery portfolio. - Provide clear customer and market feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams on future product hardware and software needs. - Support the investigation and understanding of our competitors and develop competitive selling tools. - Work with Product Management teams to create internal sales training and marketing collateral. - Work with Sales and Business Development teams to identify and develop business development plans for your region - Work with account management teams to build intimate relationship with our key accounts by delivering world-class technical consultation to our customers. - Technical Degree and/or Masters e.g. Electronic Engineering or similar field with a strong knowledge of battery and power electronics technologies. - At least 7 years of professional experience in either product management, technical sales, product management and/or business development. - At least 7 years experience working in either battery, renewables, or automotive market, with strong understanding of battery technology and ecosystem, with experience working in the battery design, production and/or test industry - Strong organization and prioritization skills - the ability to successfully lead complex projects from inception to conclusion and balance multiple projects/deliverables. - Ability to work independently, proactively and with teams is required. - Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities are required, with strong communication skills in German and English. - Demonstrated ability to conduct VOC and synthesize into meaningful insights. - Ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications and take initiative.
Responsibilities
The Battery Application Engineer will provide technical consultative assistance to key customers on power and test solutions for battery applications. They will also ensure the installation, training, and acceptance of solutions into customers' workflows while providing ongoing technical support.
