Description
Electrolyte formulation: assist in the design and preparation of electrolyte formulations for different battery chemistries Testing & analysis: perform electrolyte characterization, including ionic conductivity, viscosity, moisture and HF content. Conduct electrochemical evaluation of electrolytes in battery cells under various conditions Data collection & reporting: collect and analyze the experimental data to identify trends and insights. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the team Follow all laboratory safety protocols and ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field Hands-on experience in a lab setting, including chemical handling and preparation Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Nice to have: Previous experience in battery related fields and familiar with some characterization techniques (e.g., EIS, CV, coin cell preparation) Understanding of electrochemistry, battery fundamentals, and electrolyte materials Experience with glovebox operations and handling moisture sensitive materials Internship location: Alameda, CA
Responsibilities
