Your Role
As the Battery Integration Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the mechanical, thermal, and electrical integration of lithium-ion battery subsystem into the container. You will be a member of a team focused on design, validation, and manufacturing ensuring that our system meets product requirements.

Your mission

  • Being responsible for hardware and software integration of battery system, and core with the System Engineering, Project Management and Product teams.
  • Managing the interfaces to battery system and technical risks, as well as communicating them.
  • Leading and testing the physical integration of the batteries.
  • Coordinating and providing feedback to the Engineering and Product teams on requirements updates and validation status.
  • Working with Project & Product management to track and maintain schedule.
  • Selecting and evaluating battery candidates for supply chain.
  • Improving the battery monitoring platform and compliance with EU regulation.
  • Establishing a thorough understanding of the battery certification process and supervising it.
  • Creating and maintaining a centralised repository of battery-related information, providing a reliable reference for data, documentation, and insights to support decision-making across teams.

Your profile

  • Bachelor and / or Master degree in Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in the development and testing of battery systems.
  • Technical knowledge in engineering disciplines: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Thermal, Materials, Safety, Test/Validation, Manufacturing.
  • Experience in the lab and field environments, especially in executing development and validation

tests.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methods.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
