Description
Responsibilities
  • Assemble battery modules and packs using soldering, spot welding and mechanical tools.
  • Work with electrical connectors, heat shrink tubing and other common battery-related hardware.
  • Perform soldering of wires and printed circuit boards (PCBs) following electrostatic discharge (ESD) and quality standards.
  • Weld battery tabs using spot welders and other specialized equipment.
  • Maintain and organize lab tools, components and inventory to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Keep the lab space clean, safe and compliant with all safety procedures.
  • Document build steps, test results and maintain accurate records and administrative paperwork.
  • Assist with battery testing procedures, including setup, monitoring and data collection.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to improving lab processes.
  • Safely lift, move and transport battery components and equipment within acceptable ergonomic and company safety guidelines.

  • Must possess Secret clearance.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience with battery assembly, welding tabs and related tooling.
  • Technical proficiency with mechanical assembly, soldering, and electrical connectors.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and data logging tools.
  • Ability to manage and track inventory and maintain an orderly lab environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and documentation habits.
  • Comfortable with repetitive manual tasks and physical work (including lifting up 50 lbs within safety guidelines).
  • Familiarity with basic electrical safety and lab best practices.
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to clearly document findings and follow technical instructions.
