Your team and your responsibilities You will contribute to Toyota Motor Europe Circular Economy BEV, PHEV, HEV, FCEV battery 3R strategy making; Remanufacture, Repurpose and Recycle. In Circular Economy Business Unit, your main responsibility will be: Battery Recycling: Benchmark battery recycling players for different battery chemistries (NMC, LFP, NiMh, etc.) and companies across Europe including UK & Turkey and, assess their capabilities and performance in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Identify and map out key stakeholders in the battery-to-battery closed-loop value chain and analyse the value chain capabilities focusing on critical process steps; safe handling, transportation, diagnosis, treatment, and recycling batteries to recover valuable materials, reduce environmental impact, and support circular economy initiatives. Research current trends in battery recycling technologies for different battery chemistries (NMC, LFP, NiMh, etc.), including advancements and emerging practices. Perform forecasting for black mass supply and demand, considering market trends and future projections Your Profile Fluent in English (TME’s business language) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in high voltage batteries and 3R circular value chain; remanufacture, repurpose and recycle. Strong understanding of vehicle battery chemistry and electrical systems. Strong analytical skills to evaluate company capabilities and market trends. Ability to plan and execute complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
