Responsibilities
  • Standards-based safety and abuse testing of Lithium (Ion) and Batteries.
  • Commissioning and operating tests for the equipment including developing the appropriate protocols for tests to be undertaken including data storage methods.
  • Reporting on collected data for provision to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creating test protocols within CSIRO Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Developing certification documentation and related templates which satisfy Australian safety regulations.
  • Assisting with the development of safe working processes, procedures and instructions.
  • Ensuring new and existing equipment meets operational requirements, and appropriate standards.
  • Working with laboratory management to facilitate ISO 17025 accreditation.
  • Maintaining current knowledge in the fields of expertise, updating management on current statuses and emerging trends of emerging expertise as related to equipment standards and legislative requirements.
    Location: Clayton, VIC
    Salary: AU$114k - AU$123k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
