POSITION SUMMARY:

The NewNa Energy (N2E) company (www.newnaenergy.com) seeks qualified, innovation-focused battery technicians (2 openings) to join our team. The ideal candidates must have the desire to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment with the willingness to apply their skills and expertise in battery R&D. The positions will work closely with and report directly to the team leader. At N2E, you can blaze your trail with the right attitude, work ethic, and quality of work.

Job Duties for Battery Scientists:

  • Assemble and test the prototype cells as per SOP.
  • Follow the SOP to collect essential battery data.
  • Effectively document and communicate project progress and technical challenges to the team leader through technical progress reports and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Other laboratory maintenance works.

Desired Qualifications / Experience for Assistant Scientists:

  • Associate degree of Science in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering.

· Effective time management with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Self-motivated and a team player.

· Strong technical report writing, presentation, and oral communication skills.

  • The applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
