The Battery Test Shift Lead plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality battery testing operations during a scheduled weekend shift. This role combines hands-on testing with team leadership, supporting reliable test execution, safety, and operational excellence. DESCRIPTION The Battery Test Shift Lead coordinates and supports a team of test technicians to execute battery testing activities according to established schedules, procedures, and safety standards. This role requires independent judgment, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and active participation in daily test operations to ensure quality and efficiency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a laboratory, manufacturing, or testing environment. Experience conducting electrical and mechanical testing, including processing, analyzing, and summarizing test data. Experience using electrical and mechanical laboratory measurement equipment such as gauges, volt and impedance meters, and automated test systems. Ability to work in a repetitive testing environment while maintaining accuracy and safety. Flexibility to adjust work days and schedules during periods of high demand. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (approx 13.6kg). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with battery cycle life testing using Maccor or Neware test systems. Experience handling lithium-ion batteries. Prior safety training in laboratory or manufacturing environments. Experience using torque wrenches and thickness gauges. Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
