We are currently seeking a technician to support the testing infrastructure needs of the battery cell team. You will work closely with engineers and senior technicians in an R&D environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A basic understanding of lithium-ion battery safety and electrical hazards.
  • Solid understanding of basic mechanical skills, machine shop tools, and safety – will conduct a skills test during interview process.
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
  • Detail-oriented and comfort with online collaboration and documentation.
  • Clean and organized working style.
  • Ability to deliver consistently high-quality results when working on repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift 60lbs.

Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance. Responsibilities
  • Help to build the infrastructure for a new test lab.
  • Work with engineers and technicians to build and assemble custom OEM test fixtures and wire harnesses.
  • Entirely hands on work where extensive experience with hand tools and power tools will be mandatory.
  • Work off of SOPs and help create small production areas for different fixture builds.
  • Organize and maintain workspaces.
  • Help manage parts inventory and organization.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement.
