QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in quality and/or manufacturing.
• General knowledge of mechanical and physical testing protocols.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills in French & English required (both written and verbal).
• A passion for hockey.
• Travel as needed and/or required by essential job functions.

Want to join our team as a Temporary Quality Associate?
This is a 6+ month Temporary role reporting to the Global Quality Director at our Product Innovation Centre located in Blainville, Quebec. The Temporary Quality Associate is a key member of the Global Quality Assurance department. He or she is responsible for maintaining quality documentation, performing statistical analyses of manufacturing processes, and contributing to quality and process improvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishing and deploying procedures for quality & lab related to the design and manufacturing of BAUER products.
• In collaboration with quality coordinators and laboratory technicians, develop, write, revise, deploy and maintain quality documentation.
• Review audit reports and key performance indicators from factories to support root cause analysis and completion of corrective actions or improvements projects.
• Analyze data and complaints submitted by the warranty department to initiate corrective actions or improvement projects.
• Ensure that processes, standards, test protocols and measures are followed by our factories.
• Possibility to travel 5% of the time to visit factories, head office and distribution centers.
