Job description
Our independent Islamic elementary and secondary school is inviting applications for a part time teacher to teach English Language Arts for grades K-4. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare courses and lessons to students according to the BC curriculum and the school’s philosophy.
• Teach students using a systematic plan of lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and nature.
• Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate
• An understanding of the Islamic Religion or willingness to work at an Islamic School.
