QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience including all aspects of project lifecycle execution.
  • Proven experience leading successful full lifecycle Dynamics ERP Implementations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and WC team members.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics with a focus on Business Central.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

The BC Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of Business Central (BC) implementation and related projects, and ensure that the scope, resources and budget constraints are balanced. The Project manager is responsible for creating the project management plan -as well as coordinating with the project Solution Architect to ensure that the team is executing to the plan in order to complete the project successfully by achieving the project goals within the established scope, schedule, budget, and quality, with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Execution

  • Work with the client to understand their resource capabilities and constraints. Build a project plan taking this into account.
  • Develop and implement project plans via the Western Computer Project Process.
  • Ensure project plan and timeline aligns with client goals.
  • Plan out work and deadlines for the project team.
  • Define the project scope, goals, and deliverables that support the client’s business goals.

Project Maintenance

  • Monitor the project budget and hours allocations, making any adjustments as needed.
  • Organize and facilitate project committee meetings and client meetings.
  • Approve Project time for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with Solution Architect’s to ensure team member tasks are on target with communicated deadlines.
  • Work with clients on follow up items and provide status updates as outlined in the project plan.
  • Develop and successfully deliver large scale projects activities including but not limited to scheduling, resourcing, backlog management, and proposal development.
  • Manage issues and escalations on projects, always demonstrating empathy and strong interpersonal skills.

Reporting

  • Monitor applicable reports to track budget, forecasts, and available resources, etc.
  • Keep reporting up to date and available per the project process.

Client Engagement

  • Build strong and ongoing relationships with the client.
  • Provide follow-ups and answer questions in a timely and thoughtful manner.
  • Share client feedback with Practice Managers and suggest areas for continuous improvement.
