BCBA (MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALTY FLEX) Mobile Position in Central Massachusetts ( Worcester) The Edinburg Center is looking for a BCBA for our Mental Health Specialty Flex Team - this is not your ordinary BCBA role! Full-time salaried $ 83,803 Who You Are: BCBA/LABA or close to it? We are looking for BCBAs who want to apply their skills differently and want to practice within the intersection of mental health and behavior. We are seeking a BCBA with experience conducting functional behavior assessments and designing positive behavior support plans. Experience working with youth 21 years and under with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or autism required. Seeking a candidate with excellent written and interpersonal skills, a team player. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. What You Will Do: * BCBAs on the Specialty Flex team use the principles of ABA with youth who experience mental health challenges other than ASD to support them and their families. * BCBAs provide parent coaching, development of a FBA and BSP, they may participate in family therapy to observe patterns of behavior and family dynamics or to offer a different perspective, and they collaborate with a variety of collaterals. * Participate in individual and group supervisions with a BCBA and LICSW to assist with understanding the complexities of mental health or trauma related challenges and how to combine your skills with your clinical counterpart, as part of our agency's "Better Together" model. * A BCBA on Specialty Flex needs to think outside the box and be flexible while following principles of ABA. * A Specialty flex BCBA must understand that mental health and behavior are intertwined and must be comfortable with independent work and teamwork as they will join an interdisciplinary team of master's level mental health clinicians, bachelors level clinicians, an occupational therapist, a young adult peer mentor, and a family partner. * There is no minimum productivity requirement.
