What You'll Do We are seeking a strong, detail-oriented candidate to join the BCG X EMESA People & Development (P&D) team in the Assistant role, focused on HR Operations and employee experience delivery across the region. Key responsibilities include: Provide administrative support to the P&D and Talent teams by handling standard requests, maintaining documentation, and supporting routine people processes throughout the employee lifecycle Provide on-demand operational support for X EMESA CT staff and route complex queries to appropriate team members Support onboarding, offboarding, and mobility processes by tracking actions and following defined steps in coordination with local HR, Recruiting, and Mobility teams Assist with regional compensation processes, including the year-end bonus cycle for the X Consulting team in EMESA; compile data, flag edge cases, and track inputs in partnership with Global Compensation, Payroll, and local HR BCG X EMESA People & Development Assistant YOU’LL BE BASED IN : CITY: Lisbon COUNTRY: Portugal YOU’LL BE TRAVELLING : 0-10% YOUR EMPLOYEE TYPE IS : Regular YOUR JOB TYPE IS : Full Time Support regional people experience programs, providing structure and consistency across key employee lifecycle moments Produce HR operations reporting, including maintenance of dashboards, validation of headcount data (i.e. attrition, reduced capacity, transfers), and escalation of upstream data issues Perform regular data checks and validation, identifying discrepancies and flagging issues to senior team members for resolution Support knowledge management within X BST by updating guides, checklists, and reference materials YOU’RE GOOD AT Staying organized and managing multiple priorities with precision Delivering accurate, detail-oriented work, even in fast-paced environments Approaching complex or ambiguous situations with structure, calm, and initiative Communicating clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders Building strong cross-functional relationships and collaborating effectively across teams Finding creative, practical solutions where possible instead of defaulting to the status quo Bringing a OneBCG mindset and working seamlessly across the BCG network to support an exceptional employee experience What You'll Bring 1-2 years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally in an HR operations or people-focused role Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and data accuracy best practices Experience partnering with cross-functional HR teams across the business Workday or HRIS system familiarity strongly preferred Proven ability to handle sensitive employee data with discretion and integrity Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Who You'll Work With Colleagues across the People & Development team in EMESA and the global X network Local BCG HR teams in 17 countries, along with other BST functions Regional and global People Experience leaders, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional partners Additional info BCG X is the tech build & design unit of BCG.
