Job Description Segula Technologies is seeking a BCI Design Quality Engineer to support product development programs across Body, Chassis, and Interior (BCI) systems. This role is responsible for ensuring design quality readiness, supporting APQP/PPAP execution, and driving cross-functional quality alignment throughout the product development lifecycle—from concept through launch. The ideal candidate has experience working closely with engineering, uppliers, manufacturing, and quality teams, and is comfortable owning issues, escalating risks, and ensuring automotive quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities Support product development quality activities for BCI components across all program phases. Execute APQP deliverables, ensuring on-time completion aligned to program quality gates Own and support PPAP readiness and approvals (documentation review, issue resolution) Ensure design readiness by participation in design reviews, DFMEA activities, risk identification Drive issue escalation related to design, validation, manufacturing readiness, supplier quality Partner with DREs, Supplier Quality, manufacturing, program teams to ensure quality alignment Track, manage, report design quality issues, corrective actions using internal quality systems Suppor change management, assessing quality impact of design or process changes Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, regulatory expectation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related) 3-5 years xperience in automotive product development quality or design quality engineering Experience supporting BCI systems (Interior, Exterior, Body, Closures, Chassis) Familiarity with launch readiness, validation phases (DV/PV), and production support Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA Strong understanding of change management and risk mitigation Experience supporting cross-functional teams in an OEM or Tier 1 environment Strong problem-solving, documentation, and issue-tracking skills Effective communication skills with engineering, supplier, and manufacturing stakeholders Additional Information Why Join Us?
