  • Extensive sales experience preferably in an oil and gas role. Other industries will also be considered.
  • Experience in a Global Account management role.
  • Experienced working in an offshore oil and gas environment.
  • IT fluency and proficient in MS Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development and Global Account Manager to grow our company presence across Norway and Scandinavia. Based in Stavanger, you’ll focus on expanding our service offerings as well as will be introducing new product lines in marine transport and defence.
A key part of the role will be to manage and grow global relationships with our key partners, aligning with their strategic goals and driving revenue. You’ll lead the Sales strategy, approach new markets, and generate growth opportunities - backed by Scan Tech’s innovative engineering and commitment to a sustainable future.
You will be a proactive, persuasive communicator with a passion for closing deals and building lasting client relationships. You will also lead a team of successful individuals.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand client needs and identify how Scan Tech and James Fisher can deliver sustainable, profitable value.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for Norway and Scandinavia, expanding James Fisher product lines.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Sales teams to identify leads, research competitors, and drive new business.
  • Expand focus beyond well services to include energy, maritime transport, and defence offerings.
  • Lead the development of a unified “One James Fisher” strategy for the region.
  • Manage client communications, proposals, tenders, and ensure accurate documentation and invoicing.
  • Align sales and operations processes to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Support marketing efforts and contribute to promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Participate in internal sales meetings and reporting, sharing insights and driving growth.
  • Conduct post-sales follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Align local efforts with global James Fisher strategies for consistent regional growth.
