Description Toyota of Hemet is seeking a motivated and experienced BDC / Internet Manager to lead our Business Development Center and Internet Sales operations. The right candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound internet leads, setting and tracking appointments, overseeing a team of BDC representatives, and ensuring exceptional customer engagement that drives sales and service growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the BDC and Internet Sales Department, including lead response, follow-up, appointment setting, and conversion tracking. Manage, train, and motivate a team of BDC representatives to achieve performance goals. Develop and implement scripts, processes, and best practices for consistent, high-quality customer interactions. Monitor CRM activity to ensure timely and professional follow-up on all internet, phone, and service leads. Collaborate with the Sales and Service Managers to maximize appointment show rates, sales conversions, and customer satisfaction. Analyze lead sources, response times, and ROI to recommend improvements in digital marketing and advertising. Maintain department reporting on KPIs such as lead volume, contact ratio, show ratio, and sold ratio. Ensure compliance with Toyota brand standards and dealership policies. Requirements Automotive dealership BDC or Internet Sales management experience required (Toyota or high-volume import brand preferred). Proven track record of managing teams and achieving lead-to-appointment and appointment-to-sale performance goals. Strong understanding of CRM tools (e.g., DealerSocket, Elead, etc.). Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – with a customer-first mindset. Ability to coach and hold team members accountable for process compliance and performance. Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, lead management, and reporting tools. High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
