Business Development Center (BDC) Manager

This role is responsible for managing a team of associates who handle all inbound and outbound internet and phone inquiries, with the goal of driving showroom traffic and supporting the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Lead & Manage the BDC Team: Oversee day-to-day operations of the BDC, ensuring consistent performance in lead response, appointment setting, and customer follow-up.
  • Set & Track Goals: Establish KPIs and performance standards for BDC associates and ensure accountability through coaching, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach & Develop Talent: Provide ongoing training and feedback to the BDC team to improve communication skills, CRM usage, and sales process effectiveness.
  • Lead Response Oversight: Ensure all incoming sales leads (phone, internet, text, chat) are responded to promptly and professionally to maximize conversions.
  • Appointment Generation: Ensure high appointment setting rates with qualified leads and work with the sales team to drive appointment shows and conversions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers: Coordinate with dealership leadership to align BDC performance with store-level sales goals and campaigns.
  • CRM & Process Management: Manage CRM systems to track lead flow, follow-up cadence, and customer journey insights. Monitor data accuracy and team compliance.
  • Sales Opportunity Identification: Utilize equity mining tools and database insights to identify new business opportunities and generate proactive outreach campaigns.
  • Marketing Support: Partner with marketing and store leadership to execute promotions, campaigns, and special events.
