Description The Service Business Development Representative (BDR) helps the dealership service automobiles by assisting customers both online, as well as by phone facilitating the appointment process for the service departments. BDR agent is the first step in assisting the dealership to develop a relationship with its customer, and plays a vital part in the dealership. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Set, confirm and follow up with Service Appointments Coordinate with the appropriate Service Advisor and Technician based on the Service need and time available Work closely with the Service Advisors and learn the Technicians’ skills Respond to phone and internet inquiries in a professional and timely manner Accurately enter customer information (personal and vehicle) and customer comments/needs into the CRM tool Conduct phone surveys to assess the customers experience Maintain a follow up system that encourages repeat business and referrals Acquire knowledge of services that benefit the customer/their vehicle Keep up to date with recalls, products, monthly deals/specials Make outbound calls for necessary recalls and warranty work Generate business from manifest lists Maintain strict confidentiality of personal information of our customers Maintain regular attendance Other duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Must be presentable and professional appearing at all times Must have valid Driver’s License and good driving record High School Diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years customer service experience preferred Good organizational skills and time management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent listening skills Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of relevant computer applications Ability to demonstrate Miller Auto Mission and Values
